How is this for happy!!!

I came home tonight to my husband telling me that we are having a baby! And that was final.
Granted my baby will have four legs.

Don't get me wrong in no way does that take away my hurt of losing my Binky Boo but it does give me hope.

Not only are we having a baby we are getting Binky's sister. Same parents.

I thought this would make you all smile a little.

  1. Ya know, it isn't that often that the husband can tell the wife a baby is coming. I'm so happy for you and of course it will not take away the pain, but it will make it easier to live with.

  2. I almost forgot, boy or girl? Have you picked out names? If we all lived close we could have a shower for you.

  4. Heh, glad to see you're feeling a bit better. Speaking from experience, the new pup will help.

  5. This is your future self speaking to your right-now self--YAY! Binky will always be Binky and you will always love her, but this new baby is going to save you. I can tell you this because...three months after Bill died, our cat died (kidney failure, very unexpected; not a good time for kidneys in the danielson household). I almost had a nervous breakdown, really. It was just too much. The very next day my girlfriend came over and practically forcibly drug me over to Petco, where I adopted three-month-old Frank. The minute I got him out to the car, I felt myself being transformed. He was just what I needed and, six years later, he continues to add so much to my life I can't even tell you. I still love Ebony, will always love Ebony, but Frank was definitely just the ticket at the time. So, to wrap up--this is a wonderful thing, and I can't wait for pictures. Oh, you're just going to be so happy. Smoochies in abundance to you and your new bundle of joy and a big hug for Mr. Waterman who is obviously a most Wonderful Waterman. And don't you just love Katy as much as I love Katy? We would throw such a shower you wouldn't believe it! Happy, happy, happy!

  6. My heart skipped a beat when I first saw this, and then I realized you were talking about something much better than a baby child, but a lovely puppy. How wonderful that is! Congratulations!
